Glenn grew up in Sydney and began his career in the mining industry before joining the Police Force. During his time with the Police Force he completed his law degree.
He practiced as a Barrister prior to founding his own law firm in 1995. Glenn is a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland. He is also a Notary Public and registered Migration Agent since 2001 with the Migration Agents Registration Authority #0105779 (MARA) and also a Member of the Immigration Lawyers Association of Australasia (he was the inaugural President) and the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA)
He has extensive experience in assisting both corporate and individual clients with migration advice regarding Australia’s business and skills related visas programmes. He has been appointed by the Minister for Immigration and the Federal Attorney General to advisory boards and inquiries in relation to Australia’s migration programme and its international legal services sector.
Glenn is also an experienced commercial litigator having appeared at all levels of the Australian Courts system.
He is currently the President of the Law Council of Australia, Australia’s peak national legal body. He has been a Past President of the Queensland Law Society (2003 to 2005) and is a Senior Counsellor for the Society. He is also the Immediate Past President of LAWASIA, the Law Association of Asia and Pacific

He has a Chaired a public listed IT company and has experience as director of companies and foundations in the insurance, superannuation, charity, sport and education sectors.
He is married with three children and lives on the Sunshine Coast.
His hobbies include rugby, fishing and travel.
