BACKGROUND

Glenn grew up in Sydney and began his career in the mining industry before joining the Police Force. He is married with three children and lives on the Sunshine Coast,

He moved to Queensland in 1990 where he practised as a Barrister prior to founding his own law firm in 1995. Glenn is a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland and is also a Notary Public and registered Migration Agent.

Glenn is a past President of the Queensland Law Society (2003 to 2005) and is a Senior Counsellor for the Society. Glenn also holds the following positions:

• Immediate Past President of LAWASIA, the Law Association of Asia and Pacific
• President of the Law Council of Australia
• Chair of the College of Law Queensland
• Founding Fellow of the Australia Academy of Law

He is a Chair of a public listed IT company and a director of companies and foundations in the insurance, superannuation, charity, and education sectors.

His hobbies include rugby, fishing and travel.
